Role Snapshot: HVAC Service Delivery Lead
Mission
Elevate customer experience and field performance by developing people, optimizing operations, and ensuring safe, consistent service.
What You’ll Lead
- People Leadership: Coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing crew of residential service technicians; recruit and retain top talent.
- Customer Excellence: Embed a customer-first culture; personally support escalations and complex diagnostics when needed.
- Operational Control: Drive daily scheduling, routing, and resource planning (materials, tools, vehicles, inventory) for on-time, on-quality delivery.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, company policies, and SOPs.
- Performance Management: Monitor quality metrics, customer feedback, and productivity; turn insights into action.
- Continuous Improvement: Streamline processes to increase efficiency and consistency.
- Asset Stewardship: Protect company property—vehicles, equipment, tools, and stock.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in HVAC/field service or related trade; residential experience preferred.
- 3+ years leading field teams (supervisor/lead/foreman level).
- Strength in customer service and team development.
- Excellent communicator, organized, and solution-oriented.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Bonus: Prior HVAC Sales and Service Supervisor background.
Environment & Demands
- Fast-paced, open office with frequent travel by vehicle to jobs and customer homes.
- Indoor/outdoor work in all weather using appropriate PPE.
Physical Capabilities
- Lift/move up to 20 lbs frequently.
- Operate a motorized passenger vehicle.
- Use required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, masks/respirators, reflective vests, gloves, safety-toe construction-grade boots.
- Stand, walk, or sit for long periods.
- Hear and understand speech/other sounds for safe phone and equipment operation.
- Normal depth perception; near/far/peripheral vision with correction if needed.
- Clear verbal communication.
- Data entry via keyboard or 10-key keypad.
- Reach overhead and use arms/hands to grasp, hold, lift, turn, push, and pull tools/objects.
