Home SupervisorOverviewThe Home Supervisor ensures the safety, structure, and therapeutic support of youth in a residential treatment setting. This role combines hands-on care with leadership-overseeing staff, maintaining a positive home environment for all homes within Extensions, and supporting each student's growth and transition to the next level of care.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety & CareMaintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for youthLead and direct interventions, including crisis response when neededEnsure consistent implementation of treatment plans and program expectationsPromote healthy routines, behavior management, and daily living skillsLeadership & Staff ManagementHire, train, schedule, and supervise Home staffProvide coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing developmentLead staff meetings and trainings; ensure policy complianceFoster a positive, professional, and accountable team cultureProgram OversightPartner with clinical teams to implement individualized treatment plansMonitor home dynamics, student interactions, and overall environmentEnsure proper documentation, schedules, and daily operationsOversee home logistics (medications, transportation, cleanliness, supplies)Communication & CollaborationBuild strong relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teamsParticipate in treatment, leadership, and planning meetingsMaintain clear, timely communication across departmentsOperations & AdministrationManage home resources and contribute to budgetingEnsure compliance with policies, licensing, and regulatory standardsOversee accurate and timely documentation and reportingQualificationsBachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field (preferred)3+ years of experience in residential treatment or youth services(or equivalent leadership experience)Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skillsAbility to de-escalate and support high-needs youthCPR, First Aid, and CPI certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)Valid driver's license; must be 21+Physical & Emotional RequirementsAbility to respond to crisis situations, including use of approved safety holdsCapable of standing, moving, and lifting with assistance as neededComfortable working in high-stress, fast-paced environmentsAble to remain calm and therapeutic during conflict or aggressionWhat We're Looking ForA strong, compassionate leader who can balance accountability with empathy-someone who creates a stable, positive environment where both youth and staff can succeed.
