Job Description- Houseperson

Summary/Objective

To perform a combination of tasks which maintains the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive experience. 

Essential Functions

1. Cleans and maintains all public, storage, and back of the house areas
2.  Greets and welcomes guests. 
3. Cleans guest rooms upon request by management.
4. Handle and completes all guests’ requests immediately. 
5. Dust, vacuums, mops, all public areas including hallways and breakfast area
6. Removes trash throughout the day in all common areas including outside
7. Assists room attendants on the floor with supplies when instructed 
8. Assist laundry in folding and washing
9. Cleans and maintains public restrooms throughout the day
10. Function as maintenance when maintenance person is absent
11. Follow all OSHA policies and guidelines
12. Ensure the safety of our guest's property assets; never open door for guests who forgot their key(redirect them to frontdesk)
