Virginia Beach City Public Schools is seeking qualified, licensed teacher applicants for part-time Homebound Teacher positions in all subject areas. Qualified applicants will hold an active Virginia teacher license, and must possess and demonstrate competencies to tutor, under the supervision of classroom teachers, a variety of subject and course content for students unable to attend school due to medical and emotional conditions. Homebound teachers are expected to collaborate closely with school staff to implement educational services for their assigned students. Homebound teachers will be assigned to students based on licensure endorsements and other indicated competencies.
