PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Plan and provide instruction to eligible students with qualifying conditions who are served at home or hospital bedside. Students served may be in general education , 504 or special education programs or in a Pregnancy Related Services (PRS) program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification
Valid Texas Education Agency teaching certificate with Three semester hour survey course in the education of students with disabilities. Three semester hours directly related to teaching students with physical impairments or other health impairments or an appropriate certification as a special education teacher in Texas.
Special Knowledge Skills:
Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to interact and manage student behavior
