The Area Manager oversees the operations of non-skilled homecare office locations within a designated region, focusing on achieving operational efficiency, strong financial performance, and team development. This critical role supports the Regional Vice President in meeting and surpassing budgetary targets, particularly for growth and EBITDA, by cultivating a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the multiple office locations within a designated area, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
Identify and promote opportunities for operational improvements and implement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Oversee service delivery to ensure efficiency and effectiveness while mentoring and developing Branch Managers and other essential personnel to cultivate a high-performing team.
Analyze financial variances and monitor the performance of all office locations. Implement corrective actions as necessary and execute strategies to meet and surpass budgetary goals, specifically targeting revenue growth and EBITDA.
Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Manage the area's financial health by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and detailed financial reporting.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.
Act as the primary point of contact for major client accounts within the area, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, caregivers, and community partners.
Expand the client base and service offerings within the assigned area through strategic development and execution. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and community functions to enhance visibility and reputation.
Drive area expansion by identifying and assessing opportunities for new office locations, service line additions, and strategic partnerships.
Develop and execute area expansion strategies, ensuring they align with overarching company objectives and goals.
Conduct ongoing monitoring of market trends and competitor actions to provide data-driven insights for strategic planning and decision-making.
Address any compliance issues promptly and effectively, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Ensure all staff certifications and training requirements and renewals are met on time to maintain compliance.
Uphold, respect, and advocate for client rights at all times.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality and privacy of client information at all times.
Adhere to company policies and core values to foster a professional and supportive environment.

Qualifications:
Training Requirements:
Ensure all training requirements and renewals are met on time to maintain compliance. Including but not limited to:
Must complete orientation program.
Annual continuing education, hours minimum required by the payers/State.
Education/ Competency/Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role within the homecare or healthcare industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding financial targets, particularly in growth and EBITDA.
Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to travel within the area as needed.
Strong understanding of State and Federal regulations.
Proficient in organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage and prioritize
