The Honors Program Teaching Assistant supports Honors faculty in the design, preparation, and facilitation of interdisciplinary Honors courses. This role provides an opportunity for students to engage deeply with course material, support peer learning, and contribute to a collaborative, discussion-driven classroom environment.
Working closely with Honors faculty, the Teaching Assistant helps foster the values of curiosity, academic rigor, creative inquiry, and community that define the Honors Program. Ideal candidates are thoughtful, reliable, and excited to support meaningful academic dialogue and student success.

Walking and standing only occasionally if ever. Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision. Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading. The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position. The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
