Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
Breaks: One 30-minute lunch break and two 10-minute paid breaksPosition SummaryPenmac Staffing is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Horizontal Saw Operator for a manufacturing facility in Webb City, MO. This position is responsible for safely operating a horizontal saw to cut materials according to specifications while maintaining quality standards and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate horizontal saw equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure and cut materials according to production specifications.
• Read and interpret tape measurements accurately.
• Inspect materials and finished cuts for quality and accuracy.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Safety-minded with a commitment to following established safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Previous manufacturing or saw operation experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Must be willing to submit to a background screening.
• Must be willing to complete a drug screening process.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to follow all workplace safety guidelines and policies.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to safely handle materials and operate equipment.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and moving machinery.
