Horse Farm Laborer / Stablehand

Equine Care

• Feed and water horses according to established schedules.

• Groom horses, including brushing, hoof cleaning, and basic tack maintenance.

• Monitor each horse's health and behavior; promptly report any signs of illness, injury, or distress to the Farm Manager.

• Assist with turnout and bring-in routines, ensuring paddocks and pastures are secure.

Stall and Barn Maintenance

• Clean and bed stalls daily: remove manure, distribute fresh bedding, and sanitize feeders/water buckets.

• Maintain cleanliness of aisles, tack rooms, grooming areas, and wash racks.

• Sweep walkways and gather debris to prevent slips and falls.

• Ensure all tools, equipment, and supplies (shovels, pitchforks, wheelbarrows, grooming tools) are cleaned and stored properly after use.
