Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Hospital Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital and ensure efficient delivery of healthcare services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing operational processes, coordinating departments, improving patient care standards, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise daily hospital operations to ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
  • Coordinate with medical, nursing, administrative, and support teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor patient flow, bed occupancy, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
  • Analyze operational performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Manage budgets, operational costs, and resource utilization effectively.
  • Oversee staffing requirements, scheduling, and workforce productivity.
  • Handle patient complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with department heads to improve service quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Support strategic planning and implementation of hospital growth initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and risk management protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree (MHA, MBA Healthcare Management, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in hospital operations, healthcare administration, or hospital management.
  • Strong understanding of hospital workflows, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards.
