What You’ll Do

• Provide expert hospice and palliative care in a supportive environment
• Collaborate with residents and team members to develop and implement care plans
• Assist during precepting with residents and physicians, offering guidance when needed
• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life at all stages
• Document patient care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Adhere to all regulatory and facility standards for patient safety and care

What You Need
Required:

• Active medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
• Experience in hospice or palliative medicine preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Prior experience working with residents or in a clinical precepting role
