What Youll Do
Lead daily operations of the hospice department, ensuring quality patient care and regulatory compliance
Develop strategic plans, monitor performance metrics, and oversee fiscal management
Serve as a clinical leader, providing direct patient care when needed and ensuring interdisciplinary communication
Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
Oversee departmental budget, billing, and quality improvement initiatives
Promote hospice services through community outreach, public relations, and professional engagements
Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations, including mandatory hospice administration training
Collaborate with hospital and community partners to enhance patient and family support
What You Need
Required: Registered Nurse license in Texas; completion of hospice-specific administrative training within 12 months
Preferred: Bachelors of Science in Nursing; 2+ years hospice leadership experience; strong organizational and communication skills
