Hospice Medical Director Opportunity Description

Our client is a well-established, and growing Hospice provider in Southwest Illinois (East of St. Louis, MO).  They are in search of a Hospice Medical Director.  This is a part-time, contracted position. The role is primarily remote with occasional office visits for meetings. Hospice experience is ideal but other settings will be considered that are familiar with geriatric care.

Hospice Medical Director Requirements 

• Physician licensed in IL.
• Hospice or Palliative Care preferred. Geriatric care experience required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

 
Hospice Medical Director Responsibilities

• Assist in the patient admission process.
• Review charts, plans of care, and approve patient change orders.
• Participate in interdisciplinary staff meetings.

 
The compensation scale listed is a general salary range and is not intended to represent the actual annual or hourly compensation rate for this role. An offer will be made to the selected candidate at the conclusion of the interview process based on their relevant experience and the responsibilities of the position.
