Navian Hawaii is seeking a physician for a flexible, contract-based hospice and palliative role. You will guide patients and their family on their journey, delivering comfort and support with a caring heart, replacing fear with hope, helping them find the beauty and joy in every moment, and providing each person with the kindness and dignity they deserve.
What you'll do
Serve as complementary physician for hospice patients (home, facility, inpatient)
Complete CTIs, face-to-face encounters, and related documentation
Participate in IDG case discussions for your patients
Participate in on-call coverage blocks
What we're looking for
Active Hawaii medical license, DEA/NED registration
Hospice/palliative experience preferred
HPM board certification a plus
Comfortable with independent clinical decision-making and minimal day-to-day oversight
Structure
Per-visit/per-diem compensation, 1099 contractor
No exclusivity requirement

Expected to participate in the Performance Improvement Program, Compliance Program, and to comply with Federal and State regulations governing hospice programs

Demonstrates ethical conduct and judgment that is in harmony with the mission and values of Navian Hawaii

Works harmoniously with a broad range of staff, volunteers, and the community as a representative of Navian Hawaii
