Hospice Registered Nurse

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Livonia, MI. Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in their homes.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient health status and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding disease management, medication administration, and home care techniques.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support patient recovery.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home care or related field.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation to visit patients at their homes in Michigan.
