The Hospice Sales Executive will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing referral relationships throughout Marin County. This individual will serve as a trusted resource to physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will bring strong local market knowledge, a demonstrated history of sales success, and the ability to develop long -term referral partnerships that drive admissions growth and community awareness.

Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Territory Growth<\/b>
<\/p>- Develop and maintain referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and healthcare providers throughout Marin County.
<\/li> - Identify and cultivate new referral sources while strengthening existing accounts.
<\/li> - Execute strategic territory plans designed to increase market share and hospice census growth.
<\/li> - Conduct regular face -to -face meetings and outreach activities within the healthcare community.
<\/li><\/ul>Relationship Management<\/b>
<\/p>- Serve as a trusted hospice resource for referral partners and community stakeholders.
<\/li> - Educate healthcare professionals on hospice eligibility, services, and patient care benefits.
<\/li> - Build long -term partnerships through exceptional service, responsiveness, and consistent follow -through.
<\/li> - Maintain a strong presence within key healthcare accounts and community organizations.
<\/li> - Represent the organization at networking events, healthcare meetings, and community programs.
<\/li> - Increase awareness and understanding of hospice services throughout Marin County.
<\/li> - Support educational initiatives that strengthen referral partner engagement and community visibility.
<\/li><\/ul>Sales Performance<\/b>
<\/p>- Maintain a robust referral pipeline and consistently achieve growth objectives.
<\/li> - Track referral activity, account development efforts, and market opportunities.
<\/li> - Provide leadership with territory updates, competitive intelligence, and market insights.
<\/li> - Collaborate closely with admissions, clinical, and operational teams to support seamless patient transitions.
<\/li><\/ul>Qualifications Required<\/b>
<\/p>- Hospice or Home Health Sales experience required.
<\/li> - Minimum two years of healthcare sales, business development, marketing, liaison, or referral development experience.
<\/li> - Healthcare services sales experience required.
<\/li> - Proven success in developing referral relationships and growing territory performance.
<\/li> - Strong local market knowledge and understanding of the Marin County healthcare landscape.
<\/li> - Demonstrated job stability and consistent sales performance.
<\/li> - Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship -building skills.
<\/li> - Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance.
<\/li><\/ul>Preferred<\/b>
<\/p>- Hospice, palliative care, home health, senior living, hospital, post -acute, or related healthcare experience.
<\/li> - Outside referral development experience strongly preferred.
<\/li> - Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
<\/li> - Established relationships with local physicians, hospitals, facilities, and referral sources.
<\/li> - Clinical background is a plus but not required.
