    Volunteer Summary
    Make a meaningful impact by visiting hospice patients who would benefit from conversation, presence, and companionship. Ideal for retired or semi-retired adults looking to give back with flexible scheduling.
     
    Responsibilities
    • Offer companionship through conversation, reading, cards, or quiet presence
    • Provide emotional support to patients and families
    • Assist with light, non-clinical activities
    • Complete brief visit documentation
    • Attend training and occasional check-ins
    Requirements
    • Compassionate and reliable
    • Comfortable around end-of-life situations
    • Background check (provided by hospice)
    • No healthcare experience needed
