Full-Time CT Technologist

Position Overview
As a CT Technologist, you will perform high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to provide exceptional imaging services.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT scans and imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate CT scanners and related radiologic imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Administer contrast media as appropriate and in accordance with facility policies and provider orders
- Review patient history and physician orders prior to performing examinations
- Monitor patients before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to minimize unnecessary radiation exposure
- Evaluate images for positioning, quality, and diagnostic accuracy before submitting for interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Assist with maintaining CT equipment, supplies, and a safe imaging environment
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients regarding procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and other clinical professionals
- Follow all hospital, departmental, infection-control, and patient-safety policies
Education & Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred or required based on facility guidelines
- Current or eligible Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification/licensure
- Current BLS certification
- CT imaging experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a hospital or acute-care imaging environment is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, anatomy, radiation safety, and patient positioning
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
