CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience as a CT Technologist prior to travel
• Active Ohio radiologic technologist license in hand at the time of submission; compact licenses accepted for eligible start dates
• Current BLS certification required
• Required certifications must be active and not pending
• Hospital imaging or medical imaging experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain strong attention to detail in a patient-focused environment

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans in accordance with provider orders and department protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly to reduce anxiety
• Position patients accurately to produce high-quality diagnostic imaging results
• Operate CT equipment safely and effectively while following radiation safety standards
• Review images for technical quality and communicate concerns to the care team
• Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth workflow throughout the shift
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical staff to deliver excellent patient care
