San Bernardino County is recruiting for a Hospital Dietitian* who is responsible for performing nutritional assessments, consultations, and specialized diet instruction at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC). Dietitians develop and implement plans of nutritional care based on an assessment of needs and consultation with physicians and other health care team members regarding appropriate nutritional care, as well as, evaluating and monitoring individuals receiving enteral/parenteral nutrition. Vacancies exist for a full-time, regular status position and for a Per-Diem assignment.

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit,456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empires newest medical school. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Pre-Employment Process: Prior to appointment, applicants must pass a background investigation which includes verification of employment history and education, fingerprinting, physical exam, and drug screening.

Minimum Requirements
Registration: Must possess and maintain current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian.
Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have one (1) year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
Applicants fluent in American Sign Language, Arabic, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish and/or Vietnamese are strongly encouraged to apply. Additional compensation is associated with positions requiring the use of bilingual skills. Testing of bilingual skills may be required to receive additional compensation.
Candidates fluent in Spanish with experience in an clinical/outpatient setting are highly desirable.
