Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Position with responsibility for coordinating mobile equipment tracking/locating. Participate in business process reengineering and responsible for operational support services related to mobile equipment for the facility. 

  • Responsible for the mobile equipment management process for the facility. 

  • Primary point-of-contact with all users for the training and support of the services, including interfacing with clinical, biomedical, materials management, financial and administrative staff. 

  • Coordinates on-site operations support employees and customer employees who utilize the equipment tracking software and services. 

  • Develop, implement and monitor optimized business processes relative to the mobile equipment management functions. 

  • Analyze utilization, on-hand quantities, relevant data, and compile requested reports related to the mobile equipment management process. 

  • Assists in departmental cost containment efforts. 

  • Performs equipment distribution and routing cleaning of designated mobile equipment (beds excluded) as needed. This may not apply at all facilities. 

  • Manage the ordering of supplies for department general use and crash carts/intubation boxes as well as work with Materials Management on PAR levels to reduce/increase stock as needed. 

  • Manage schedules and PTO requests for the department. 

  • Other duties may include, but are not limited to, monthly crash cart assignments, retagging equipment; completing Finance downloads of capital equipment. 


What qualifications you will need:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior healthcare industry work experience
