Overview
Greeters, depending on the area of assignment, will greet, guide, and offer assistance to patients, visitors, and staff on nursing units and throughout the hospital. Greeters may assist discharging patients, utilizing wheelchair, escort assistance, and rounding patient rooms and patient areas.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
Assist patient information desk staff with greeting visitors, patients, vendors or employees during hospital operating/visitor hours in accordance with Prime established policies and procedures. Create positive first impression for each individual who enters the hospital and maintain the safety of our patients, community and staff. Greet visitors, patients, vendors or employees and follow the outlined Prime established screening policies and procedures including utilizing Prime provided script for interactions. Greeter should be self-motivated, engaged, friendly, and comfortable talking to patients/visitors. The Greeter also needs to be able to navigate around the hospital and offer directions.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience 1. High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 2. Previous experience in office or receptionist. 3. Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines. 5. Analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Customer Services experience preferred.
