Job DescriptionHospital Hematopathologist - Oklahoma City, OK (onsite)Responsibilities: AmeriPath and Diagnostics Pathology Services, Inc. is seeking a hospital-based Hematopathologist that will handle a case mix of hematopathology, bone marrows and AP/CP general surgical work with frozen sign-out. The selected individual will work in a tertiary care hospital as a part of a team of 7 pathologists. Willingness to pick up hospital based medical directorship for a small hospital is ideal.Qualifications: MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology residency/fellowshipMust be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathologyMust be board certified in hematopathology or be board eligible2-3 years post residency experience desired but not requiredMust hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where practice is located or be eligible to obtain licensureMust hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work is interpretedBenefits InformationInsurance for medical, dental and vision coverage is available401 (K) plan- company matches up to 5% after the 1st anniversary$30,000 sign-on bonusPaid time off - 6 weeks (30 days Mon-Fri) for vacation, CME and sick timePaid time off for 6 annual Holidays per yearSalary depends on expertise and experiencePhysician annual incentive plan bonusLife insurance available for purchase (supplemental life, dependent life and short term and long-term disability)Reimbursement of up to $5,000 for CME activitiesPaid malpractice insuranceOklahoma City is a large city boasting arts, theatre, music, sports, natural beauty and outdoor recreation.
