Hospital Janitorial Cleaner (Royersford)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Position: Full-Time
Pay: $14.00–$18.00 per hour


Job Summary


We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Hospital Janitorial Cleaner to join our team in Royersford, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout the hospital while following all required healthcare cleaning procedures and safety standards.


Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout assigned areas.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash and waste according to hospital procedures.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow infection-control and sanitation procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain assigned areas according to hospital cleanliness standards.
• Report maintenance issues, supply shortages, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow all hospital and company safety, confidentiality, and infection-prevention policies.
• Work professionally around patients, visitors, nurses, doctors, and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, commercial cleaning, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
• Hospital or medical facility cleaning experience is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Must maintain a professional and respectful attitude.
• Must be able to follow all required hospital safety and infection-control protocols.

Compensation


$14.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
