Charlotte Hungerford Hospital

Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is a 122-bed acute care community hospital located in Torrington, Connecticut. As part of Hartford HealthCare, the hospital combines the personalized feel of a community setting with the clinical expertise, technology, and specialty support of a statewide health system.

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our growing Hospital Medicine team as a Hospitalist.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys practicing high-quality inpatient medicine in a collaborative environment while maintaining an outstanding work-life balance.

Position Highlights

• Monday-Friday 8-hour shift schedule
• Closed ICU with intensivist support
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary Hospital Medicine team

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Connecticut medical license
• Eligible for unrestricted DEA and Connecticut Controlled Substance registration
