Bring Better to the Bedside as a Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner in Macon GA at Piedmont Macon Northside

We are hiring for an Anocturnist nurse practitioner position. Anocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration

Join our close-knit team of four physicians and two APPs at Piedmont Macon Northside.

Qualifications

  • Board certifiedeligible nurse practitioners.
  • Two or more years of hospitalist experience as an NP is required.
  • Flexible schedule with 7 days on7 days off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross coverage calls on an ADC of 20-40 and approximately 2-3 admissionsnight.
  • This nocturnist role works in a supportive environment that promotes balance and collaboration.
  • Focus on managing cases in an open ICU environment with tele-intensivist coverage without the expectation of performing procedures or running codes.

Our advanced practice providers work in a team-based care model alongside their physician colleagues. Theyre driving the care for their patients but at the same time they have that physician collaborator there. If they have a question if they need another set of eyes on the patient the physician is there to do that. This provides our advanced practice providers with the support needed to practice at the top of their license.
