    • Patient Volume: Average patient census: 27 patients
    • Coverage Model: 1 MD and 1 NPPA
    • Number of Beds: 32 beds
    • Acuity: Level III Trauma Center
    • EMR: EPIC with Abridge AI Note
    • Procedures: No procedures required


    Qualifications

    • Education: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency Training
    • Licensure: Must have or be able to obtain a Texas medical license
    • Board Certification: Board eligibility/board certification required upon start
    • Skills & Procedures: No procedures required
    • Badges: ACLS

    • About Longview ContinueCARE Hospital-HM: Longview ContinueCARE Hospital is a 32 bed Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) located within CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center-Longview, providing specialized care for critically ill and medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization. The hospital offers ventilator weaning, pulmonary care, complex wound care, infectious disease management, and treatment for medically complex conditions, along with physical, occupational, nutritional, and respiratory therapies. The facility has been recognized as a CIHQ Center of Excellence in Long-Term Acute Care, Respiratory Therapy, and Nursing, reflecting the commitment to specialized, high-quality patient care.
