Job Summary:
Join our team of 6 physicians and 3 APPs at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff, California. We offer a balanced 7-days-on, 7-days-off block schedule, allowing for quality time at work and home. As a Hospital Medicine Physician, you will experience an average census of 10-12 patients per physician, with 1-3 admissions per day and 2-6 admissions per night. You will also have the opportunity to provide coverage for pediatric patients and assist in facilitating transfers of critical patients.
Responsibilities:
- Experience an average census of 10-12 patients per physician
- 1-3 admissions per day and 2-6 admissions per night
- Provide coverage for pediatric patients
- Assist in facilitating transfers of critical patients
- Work in an open ICU with telemedicine critical care 24/7
- Perform most procedures and run codes
- Cerner EMR and access to Sound Physicians internal informatics platform
- Phone consultations with specialists at our larger regional hospital
- Strong connections through team meetings held monthly or bi-monthly

Compensation:
- Expected yearly salary: $320,000 - $330,000
