Hospital NavigatorPosition SummaryThe Hospital Navigator serves as the primary liaison between hospital stakeholders, patients, and Superior Mobile Health operations teams to coordinate safe, compliant, and efficient patient transportation services. This role works closely with hospital leadership, case management, discharge planning, and emergency department teams to facilitate transport requests, obtain required documentation and authorizations, and ensure patients receive the appropriate level of transportation.The Hospital Navigator also monitors transportation performance, resolves service concerns, and provides reporting and insights to health system partners to support operational excellence and patient access to care.Key ResponsibilitiesTransport Coordination & Stakeholder SupportServe as the primary liaison between hospital stakeholders, patients, and Superior Mobile Health personnelCoordinate transportation requests and ensure the appropriate level of service is scheduledObtain and verify patient information, required documentation, authorizations, and insurance informationMaintain knowledge of ambulance medical necessity requirements and transportation compliance standardsRelationship ManagementDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with hospital leadership, case management teams, emergency department staff, and operational partnersConduct regular on-site visits to support communication, collaboration, and service alignmentResolve transportation-related concerns in a timely and professional mannerReporting & Operational SupportPrepare and present transportation utilization, operational, and financial reportsMonitor service trends and identify opportunities for process improvementEnsure accurate data entry and documentation within company systemsComply with all company policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsRequired ExperienceHealthcare operations, patient flow, discharge planning, EMS, or hospital transport coordination experienceExperience working with clinical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environmentUnderstanding of medical necessity requirements and transport coordination processesKnowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirementsAbility to work independently while representing the organization professionallyRequired EducationHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferred QualificationsEMS, case management, patient access, transfer center, or care coordination experienceExperience with interfacility transport coordinationFamiliarity with PCS forms, transfer packets, and transport documentationAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related fieldEMT, Paramedic, LVN, RN, or other clinical certificationBLS/CPR CertificationWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationPerformance-based bonus opportunity, mutually determined following hireCompany-provided vehicleMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and company-paid holidays401(k) with employer contributionsProfessional development and advancement opportunitiesWorking ConditionsField-based positionDaily travel of approximately 50% to 75%Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writingAbility to use a computer and mobile technology devicesAbility to sit, stand, walk, and travel throughout the workday
