Position Overview: To Provide oversight and direction to hospital wide Nursing Services to include Charge Nurses, Admissions Nurses, Program Mangers, and Mental Health Technicians after normal administrative working hours. This position serves as the House Supervisor role and function when the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing are not on duty. Job Duties / Essential Functions Provide oversight and direction to Charge Nurses, Admissions Nurses, Program Mangers, and MHTs for routine and emergency operations of the hospital. Provide support to nurses and MHTs during crisis situations, deploying emergency protocols and procedures, both environmental and medical, when necessary. Ensure appropriate staffing levels on assigned shifts. Assure cross shift report is completed for assigned shifts between nurses and MHTs. Report critical incidents as required under policy to the Director of Nursing, Executive Director, and Administrator on call. Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences) Graduate of accredited School of Nursing, College or University and current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania RN license required. Bachelors degree in nursing and one year previous nursing experience preferred. CPR certification or immediate certification training required. Clearance as well as possess a valid drivers license.
