    MDT Institute is expanding its healthcare education programs and preparing to develop nursing programs at our Duluth, Georgia campus.

    To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced and relationship-driven professional to help establish hospital-based training partnerships throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area.

    The primary focus of this position is developing relationships with hospitals and health systems to create and expand clinical education opportunities for our nursing students. This position requires a candidate with a strong understanding of the Atlanta healthcare community, established relationships within local hospitals and health systems, and the ability to connect with key decision-makers across nursing leadership, education, academic affiliations, workforce development, and hospital administration.

    Job Summary

    The Hospital Partnerships & Outreach Specialist will serve as MDT Institute's primary representative for developing relationships with hospitals and health systems in Georgia.

    This position will focus on identifying prospective hospital partners, reaching the appropriate decision-makers, leveraging existing professional relationships and networks where possible, and developing those connections into meaningful partnerships.

    The Specialist will work closely with MDT leadership and nursing program leadership to introduce our proposed nursing programs, identify potential clinical opportunities, understand each hospital's partnership and approval process, and advance qualified opportunities toward letters of intent and formal affiliation agreements.

    A key measure of success in this role will be the ability to connect MDT Institute with the right hospital leaders and develop those introductions into sustainable partnerships.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop relationships with hospitals and health systems throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area and surrounding Georgia communities.
    • Leverage existing professional relationships and healthcare networks to connect with hospital leaders and key decision-makers.
    • Conduct targeted outreach and arrange meetings with nursing leadership, education departments, academic affiliation teams, workforce development leaders, and hospital administrators.
    • Present MDT Institute's nursing programs and clinical education needs to prospective hospital partners.
    • Build and maintain relationships with hospital partners through consistent follow-up and identify opportunities for student clinical experiences.
    • Navigate hospital affiliation requirements and advance qualified partnerships toward letters of intent and executed affiliation agreements.
    • Coordinate with MDT leadership and maintain clear records and updates on outreach activity, partnership progress, and next steps.

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience
      • Experience developing partnerships, affiliations, or professional relationships with hospitals, health systems, or healthcare organizations.
      • Proven track record of proactive outreach and successfully establishing new relationships with hospital and healthcare decision-makers.
      • Experience working with hospital leadership, nursing leadership, education departments, academic affiliation teams, workforce development, or similar decision-makers.
      • Experience advancing healthcare partnerships toward affiliation agreements, letters of intent, or similar agreements.
