Job Title: Hospital Pharmacist
Location: New York, NY 10016
Duration: 14 Weeks contract with possible extension
Schedule: 5 Days per Week and 37.5 Hours per Week
Shift: Evening Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) & Overnight 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Pay Range: $80 - $100/hr on w2
Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in a hospital setting. The Pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, preparing, and dispensing medications while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have retail pharmacy experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hospital Pharmacy experience
- Pharmacy dispensing system experience
- IV Room experience
- Sterile Compounding/Sterile Processing experience
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
Key Responsibilities:- Review, verify, prepare, and dispense medications
- Ensure accuracy of medication orders and dispensing processes
- Maintain pharmacy records and documentation
- Support medication management and daily pharmacy operations
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in sterile compounding and IV room operations as assigned
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and safety standards
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy
- Active New York State Pharmacist License (NYSED)
- Primary Source Verification of Pharmacist License
- Minimum one (1) year of Pharmacist experience
- Retail Pharmacy experience
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
