What You'll Do
- Prepare and process patient specimens following pre-analytical procedures with precision
- Perform specimen accessioning and manage test send-outs
- Utilize systems and platforms for tracking and reporting
- Troubleshoot specimen issues including missing information, sample discrepancies, and test cancellations
- Serve as a liaison between hospital staff and the laboratory team
- Manage inbound calls and provide proactive customer support
- Maintain inventory and handle supply ordering processes
What We're Looking For
- A current, up-to-date resume
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience
- Medical or laboratory background preferred, including knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong data entry skills (ability to meet high keystroke requirements)
- Experience with hospital LIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking ability
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, biohazard environment while maintaining composure
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
