About the Role:
MedPOINT Management in Sherman Oaks, CA is looking for a detail-oriented Hospital Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes in a hospital accounting environment
• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for hospital operations
• Ensure compliance with healthcare accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and financial discrepancies
• Assist in audits and prepare supporting documentation as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or hospital settings
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of GAAP and healthcare financial reporting standards
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
