Central Distribution Manager

This position provides onsite leadership for Central Distribution operations at MarinHealth Medical Center as part of a Market Performance Partnership supporting the client. The Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, inventory management, replenishment, and distribution of medical and surgical supplies throughout the hospital while maintaining compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, infection prevention requirements, and accreditation standards. The role oversees approximately 20 union-represented staff members and serves as a key operational leader supporting patient care.

Required Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

Job Duties:

This position provides onsite leadership for Central Distribution operations at MarinHealth Medical Center as part of a Market Performance Partnership supporting the client. The Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, inventory management, replenishment, and distribution of medical and surgical supplies throughout the hospital while maintaining compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, infection prevention requirements, and accreditation standards. The role oversees approximately 20 union-represented staff members and serves as a key operational leader supporting patient care.

Typical Day:

The Manager provides onsite leadership for approximately 20 union-represented employees including Material Clerks, Receiving Clerks, and Inventory Support Personnel. The role uses Workday ERP and inventory management systems while overseeing receiving, inventory, replenishment, and distribution activities throughout the hospital. Work hours are generally 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Schedule flexibility is required based on operational needs. Hospital-issued scrubs are the primary attire. Closed-toe non-slip footwear required.
