Job Summary:
We are seeking a Chief Hospitalist to lead our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Qualified Candidates:
- 3+ years hospitalist practice experience
- Progressive leadership experience
- Comfortable with a mix of clinical hospitalist shifts and leadership duties
- Experience as Hospitalist Chief or Associate Chief a plus
- Experience teaching/working with internal medicine residents a plus
- Must have excellent clinical and communication skills
- Board certified in internal medicine

Hospitalist Program Information:
- 12 hour physician shifts
- 18-20 patient visits/day for each hospitalist
- Dedicated nocturnists
- Closed ICU
- No procedures required

- Level II Trauma Center
- 24/7 full-service ER with 2 freestanding ERs
- 24/7 dedicated inpatient intensivist program
- Internal medicine, family medicine, and psychiatry GME residency programs with Tufts University affiliation
- 30-bed inpatient behavioral health unit
