Hospitalist, Hospitalist Medical Director

As a Hospitalist Medical Director with USACS, youll be responsible for managing Hospitalist medicine services by collaborating with the hospital and nursing leadership while offering support to your Physician staff. As a leader for both the hospital and USACS, you will influence broad company decisions and help facilitate the development of new leaders.

Career Details

• Oversee Hospitalist service operations
• Supervise HM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
• Represent the staff in the community and within the hospital
• Estimated employed W-2 base pay range of $145/hour to $175/hour. Additional leadership stipend included.

• Daily Encounters: 75

• Meditech EMR

• 13 Physician Hospitalist team
• Staffing Model:
  • 60 hours of day and 12 hours of night Physician coverage
• Dedicated Nocturnist
• Intensivists on-site
• Hospitalist team supports Internal Medicine (IM) residency program
• Attendings will supervise IM and FM resident along with medical students
