What You’ll Do

• Provide pediatric inpatient care for newborns and high-risk deliveries in a Level 1 nursery setting
• Stabilize and resuscitate critically ill newborns in high-acuity cases
• Respond to ER consults and collaborate with hospital staff on patient care
• Cover multiple consecutive 24-hour shifts, maintaining availability for urgent care needs
• Ensure timely response within 20 minutes while on call
• Utilize Epic EMR with templates and order sets for documentation
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including obstetrics, anesthesia, and nursing staff

What You Need

• NY State Medical License (Active and in-hand)
• Board Certified Pediatrician
• Current BLS, PALS, NRP certifications
• Epic EMR experience
• Ability to respond within 20 minutes during on-call shifts
• Strong resuscitation and stabilization skills for neonatal emergencies

Preferred

• Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation techniques
• Ability to return to hospital promptly when called upon
