Job Summary:
HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a PRN Hospitalist to join its elite team in beautiful Inverness, Florida.Qualified Candidates:
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine
- Florida License and DEA Required
- On-site 7am-7pm, nightly call coverage and weekends, nights
- Shifts variable based on need and census
- Potential of working with Internal Medicine residency depending on need and qualifications
- Daily census about 25 per provider / About 30 daily admissions
- Participate in daily multi-disciplinary rounds
- Hospitalists follow ICU patients, but all ICU patients have critical care consult and majority of critical care management is done by ICU team
- Hospitalists do NOT run codes
- Preferred experience with Cerner EMR
