We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • We take pride in our well-established team at Texas Health Rockwall of 10 physicians and one advanced practice provider (APP), with the support of a clinical performance nurse and a practice manager.
  • Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
  • Outside of work, we come together for social events to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food and sports.

Qualifications:

  • We are open to 2026 graduates.
  • ACLS certified and Internal medicine only.

Scheduling:

  • This is a full-time nocturnist role.
  • Full-time positions follow a 7-nights-on, 7-nights-off rotation
  • We understand the importance of spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. That's why we offer a flexible schedule that allows for work-life balance. Our team covers for each other when anyone is out, ensuring that you can enjoy time off without worry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The nocturnist role is primarily an admitting position; you will run codes and rapids, no procedures.
  • You will have a Swing physician who works from 10 am to 10 pm to help with admissions.
  • The average census per nocturnist is 10-11 admits per night.
  • EMR is EPIC.

  • Located in a fantastic location just 22 miles from downtown Dallas and right on Lake Ray Hubbard! You have a variety of communities to choose from in both North and South Dallas. Great Schools, strong housing market, and a diverse job market. There is an array of family activities so you can have something to do each day of the year!
  • Enjoy an average of 245 days of sunshine and have access to over 25 city parks, 5 huge lakes, more than 20 golf courses, and dozens of restaurants and shops. Also known for its arts scene, Dallas offers concert venues, off-Broadway shows, museums, and galleries.

Rewards and Compensation:

  • As a Nocturnist, you will make a base of $310,250 annually; 182.5 shifts a year
  • Eligible for both PPI and PQI bonuses.
  • Full benefits, including CME allowance, are available.
