Key Responsibilities of a Hospitalist
- Manage and coordinate patient care with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective recovery.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital regulations.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients and their families to provide education and support regarding healthcare decisions.
Qualifications for a Successful Hospitalist
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited program in AZ
- 1+ years of experience in Cerner or Cerner CareNet or Cerner Millenium
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- State medical license in good standing or the ability to obtain licensure.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.
Schedule and Shift Details
Shift Information: 12-hour day shifts, 6a-6p or 7a-7p; Schedule: 7 on/7 off
