Hospitality Accountant (Task Force Team)Nashville, TN$32–$42/hourAbout the Opportunity – Hospitality AccountantOur client, a respected full‑service hospitality organization in the Nashville market, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their finance team. This task force role is critical in supporting daily financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and partnering closely with leadership to drive financial performance.Key Responsibilities – Hospitality AccountantPrepare and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations with a strong focus on accuracy and timelinessSupport month‑end close processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparationOversee credit card reconciliations, cash handling procedures, deposits, and internal controlsSupervise cashier functions and conduct periodic audits to ensure complianceAssist with accounts payable, expense review, and weekly disbursement processesSupport group billing, inventory reviews, and payroll/labor analysisPartner with leadership to provide financial insights, analysis, and reportingMaintain compliance with financial regulations, audits, and company policiesQualifications – Hospitality Accountant5+ years of progressive accounting experience; hospitality experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of hotel accounting operations, including revenue, AP, payroll, and reportingProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting/financial systemsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and efficiencyStrong communication and collaboration skills across departmentsHigh attention to detail with a strong sense of accountabilityBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferredExperience in luxury or full‑service hotel environments is a plusFamiliarity with the Nashville hospitality market preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
