What You'll Do:
As a Hospitality Aide, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents each day. In this role, you’ll assist with transporting residents to meals and activities, respond to call lights within your scope, and provide companionship through one-on-one interaction. You’ll help keep resident rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked, supporting the care team by handling tasks like making beds, refreshing linens, and maintaining supplies.
You’ll also support dining services by delivering and collecting meal trays, assisting with hydration, and providing snacks or supplements as needed. Behind the scenes, you’ll help ensure equipment is clean, supplies are put away, and the environment remains safe and organized. Throughout your shift, you’ll interact with residents, families, and team members, delivering a high level of customer service while helping create a positive and caring community experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Resident Support – Assist with transporting residents to meals, activities, and other areas as needed.
- Offer Companionship – Provide one-on-one support and meaningful interaction with residents.
- Respond to Call Lights – Address resident needs within scope and communicate with the care team as appropriate.
- Assist with Room Upkeep – Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked resident rooms.
- Support Housekeeping Needs – Make beds, change linens, and remove trash and soiled items.
- Assist with Dining Services – Deliver and collect meal trays, refill water, and provide snacks or supplements.
- Maintain Equipment & Supplies – Clean resident equipment and restock supplies throughout the shift.
- Promote a Safe Environment – Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols.
- Support Team Operations – Assist team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Communicate & Document – Share relevant updates with the care team and maintain professionalism at all times.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Follow Directions Effectively – Ability to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions.
- Stay Active on the Job – Comfortable with physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Meet Physical Requirements – Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds without assistance.
- Work in a Team Environment – Maintain a positive, cooperative approach when supporting residents and team members.
- Healthcare Experience – Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting is a plus.
