Do you enjoy helping others and staying active throughout your day? Are you someone who brings calm, care, and reliability wherever you go? Highland Palms Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Transportation Aide / Patient Sitter to join our dedicated team.
Founded in 1968 and dedicated in loving memory of Helen Lamb Frost, Highland Palms Healthcare Center is a 99-bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Highland, California. We specialize in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, providing 24-hour personalized skilled nursing services. Our mission is to uphold high medical integrity, promote team spirit, and create a warm, homelike environment for our residents and their families.
Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, activities, and outings
Provide companionship and supervision as a patient sitter
Assist residents with mobility and ensure safety during transport
Communicate effectively with nursing staff and residents’ families
Serve as a friendly, reassuring presence throughout the day
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred
Patience, empathy, and a positive, professional attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
Pay range: $17.48 – $18.00 per hour, DOE
