Overview
Provides consistent, high-quality food and beverage setup and service to clients while ensuring smooth delivery of conference and function services. Responsible for setting up and breaking down conference rooms, maintaining kitchens, equipment, meeting rooms, visitor offices, pantries, and office areas, and providing professional client service and general office support.
Responsibilities
- Ensure excellent and professional client service at all times.
- Lead in coordinating meeting rooms, conferences, functions, and events.
- Set up and break down conference rooms according to event requirements, including tables, chairs, podiums, divider walls, flip charts, whiteboards, and cork boards.
- Set up and break down catered food, ice, refreshments, cups, plates, plastic ware, napkins, and other event supplies.
- Assemble and arrange conference equipment and presentation materials as required.
- Provide general waiting and food and beverage service.
- Follow proper hygienic food and beverage handling procedures.
- Greet clients and guests and manage the conference/hospitality calendar.
- Maintain conference rooms through regular sweeps, including adjusting chairs, wiping tables, stocking supplies, and adjusting blinds.
- Prepare, set up, and break down food service for client meetings, parties, and company events.
- Maintain kitchens and clean kitchen equipment, including coffee machines, refrigerators, microwaves, ice machines, and dishwashers.
- Load dishwashers with items used by client personnel.
- Order, track, and maintain inventory of office supplies, food, beverages, kitchen supplies, conference room supplies, and pantry items.
- Maintain pantry, beverage, and snack supplies.
- Provide general assistance with cleaning kitchens, conference areas, offices, and building locations as needed.
- Perform trash removal, dusting, restroom and break room cleaning and restocking, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window washing as required.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Provide copy and print production support as needed.
- Perform general clerical, copy center, mail, and delivery duties.
- Distribute office supplies, packages, fax transmissions, and incoming and outgoing mail to company personnel or designated drop-off points.
- Assist with shipping and receiving products and supplies, sorting and distributing materials as required.
- Train team members on responsibilities and tasks associated with the position.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, employees, and other personnel at all levels.
- Build and maintain professional client relationships.
- Maintain a professional, client-focused environment at all times.
- Move throughout the office regularly, including walking between departments and service areas.
- Lift and carry materials, packages, and office supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 2 years of related hospitality and office experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong hospitality, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Positive, proactive, adaptable, and service-oriented attitude with a "can do, will do" approach.
- Ability to thrive in a client-facing environment and meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and office equipment skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Ability to regularly walk, stand, bend, and transport items as required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
