ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Hospitality Associate supports preparing and executing corporate guest experiences, including trackside hospitality chalets and luxury suites during major race weekends, private functions and special events. The Hospitality Associate will be expected to have a positive attitude, deliver excellent customer service and strive to overdeliver against guest expectations.

The ideal candidate will adopt a GLOBE mentality - "Generously Lending Our Best Efforts". This is done when someone holds themselves and their teammates accountable for going "above and beyond" guest expectations. The ideal candidate will also be a productive and proactive self-starter who is passionate about his/her duties and willing to put forth the extra effort to achieve excellence. This is a seasonal, as needed position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist and support the operation of luxury suites and hospitality chalets during major race events at Sonoma Raceway including NASCAR and NHRA.
  • Assist and support the set-up and execution of high-end hospitality events at the facility, such as track rentals, private parties, and corporate events.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service during major events and private rentals while ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled and client needs are met.
  • Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Relevant experience in a comparable position, preferably within the restaurant, entertainment or hospitality industry.
  • Appreciation for high standards in customer service.
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as demonstrated professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Team player spirit with an exceptional customer service attitude.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings on the following dates: June 7-8, July 17-19 and July 25.

Starting at $20 per hour
