This internship will encompass the growth and knowledge of leadership, management, customer services skills, and brand representation. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Provide excellent customer service to coaches, teams and families with questions regarding hospitality and concierge servicesUnderstand and organize offerings, create swag bags and review team information to ensure a smooth check in processGreet guests with professionalism during their check in processDiffuse and assist in resolving any guest relations issues that ariseUtilize excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills to promote, inform, and sell offerings to coaches, teams and familiesOther projects as assignedMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Current student or recently graduated in the last year studying hospitality management Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong desire to learnAbility to work in a team environment, as well as, independentlyDemonstrate success with multi-tasking and organizing multiple prioritiesSelf-motivated and has initiative to complete tasks in a timely fashionAvailable 40 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and game daysWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds infrequentlyMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend into awkward positions while performing job functionsWill be required to sit for extended periods of time operating a computerWorkplace environment has intermittent noise, generally moderate in nature, but can be loud at times especially during competitions and eventsExposure to heat, cold and other elements
