What You Will Own (Leadership Responsibilities)

  • Shift Operations: Lead high-volume floor operations, create line-ups, manage breaks, and run opening/closing routines.
  • Real-Time Coaching: Act as a positive role model, managing team performance and behavior with clarity and care.
  • Operational Excellence: Uphold strict standards for food safety, speed, accuracy, and store cleanliness.
  • REMARKable Hospitality: Execute Chick-fil-A's hospitality model and resolve guest complaints with genuine empathy.
  • Financial Stewardship: Dependably handle cash drawers and safely finalize daily financial operations.

The Ideal Leadership Candidate

  • Proven Leadership: 1 to 2 years of formal experience supervising, training, or directing teams (Shift Lead, Keyholder, Assistant Manager, etc.).
  • High-Volume Background: Experience running shifts in fast-paced environments like quick-service restaurants, grocery (e.g., H-E-B), high-volume retail, or hospitality.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Handles stressful, peak-volume situations well with a positive, results-driven attitude.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work on your feet for several hours, lift up to 40 lbs., and work outdoors in Texas temperatures while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Dependability: Trustworthy integrity, reliable transportation, and a clear desire to develop people.
