Hospitality Specialist

Position Summary: The Hospitality Specialist supports company and owner events (to include cleaning, cooking and event coordination) at the Red Barn and Crew House. This position will also support events and meal preparations for Dynamic Aviation events as requested. This position will report to the Facilities Manager.Key Responsibilities:

Ensures a welcoming and pleasant experience for any visitors or customersCleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuumingServices, cleans or supplies restroomsCleans windows, glass partitions, or mirrors using cleaners (to include bleach if needed), sponges or squeegeesCleans and polishes furniture and fixturesGathers and empties trashCleans and changes bedding, linens, towels, rugs as neededPurchases, picks up and delivers products, food and beverages for events using personal vehicleInventory management of supplies and products at the Red Barn and Crew HousePrepares or assists with snacks and meals for meetings and events as needed to include events for Dynamic Aviation (ex: Managers Conference)Notifies Facilities Manager concerning the need for major repairs or maintenance issuesRequisitions supplies, equipment, and food items needed for dutiesTracks and submits receipts in a timely mannerSets up, arranges and removes decorations, tables, chairs to prepare events and meetingsWatering plants at Red BarnPatio maintenance at Red BarnOther duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent1-3 years of related work experienceWork well with internal and external customers at all levelsStrong customer service orientation and focus

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects at a time and meet internal deadlinesStrong attention to detailAbility to manage projects successfully while working with minimal direct oversight

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Previous event management experience

Ability to travel as required - minimalAbility to stand and walk for extended periods (often 4-8+ hours during events)Capability to lift and carry moderately heavy items (typically 20-40 lbs, such as décor, signage, or supplies)Frequent bending, reaching, and crouching during setup and breakdownGood mobility to move quickly between event areas and venuesStamina to handle long, irregular hours, including early mornings and late nightsManual dexterity for handling small items (place cards, décor details, etc.)Ability to work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, different weather conditions)Physical energy to assist with setup, rearranging furniture, and last-minute adjustmentsTolerance for noise, crowds, and high-activity environmentsPassport or work authorization requirement to work in the US

Working Conditions

8am - 5 pm, variable work schedule based on business needs and events scheduled

Pay Band: $21.06- $30.50 per hour. Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
