Northstar Tavern Inc in Bloomington, MN is looking for a friendly and energetic Host to be the first face our guests see! Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently
• Communicate wait times clearly and accurately to guests
• Coordinate with servers and floor staff to ensure smooth table turnover
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general inquiries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entrance area
• Assist with carry-out orders and to-go packaging as needed

Requirements:

• Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house experience preferred
• Outgoing, friendly, and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume restaurant environment
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the dining area
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
